This was made possible through a collaboration involving engineers, mechanics, heavy-duty truck drivers, around fifty Quebec customers, and the experts at Remorques Labelle.
Sturdy box
Our box is wider than the competition’s. To increase its sturdiness, we added 5 dividers instead of 2.
We also reduced the thickness of the inner walls by a quarter-inch. The result: a lighter box that is far more impact-resistant.
Chassis
The chassis sections are made from the same aluminum as the main frame: 6061-T6 aluminum. The axles also utilize this alloy, which is renowned for its high strength.
We eliminated the dirt-trapping lip on the crossmembers, thereby reducing the total weight. The crossmembers beneath the bed are reinforced at the chassis connection for added strength.
The rubber strip between the bed and the chassis is installed in a track, making it easy to replace.
Floor slope
The angle between the floor and the walls is steeper than on most trailers.
This slope offers better protection for the walls against shovel impacts and makes the box structure more rigid.
